Goals for 2023

Happy January!

We are six days into 2023 and I thought what better way to hold myself accountable than to share with you some of my goals for 2023.

You see I suppose it’s a little like setting resolutions, however, no matter how many years and resolutions we have, I never seem to stick to them. There is always a lot of pressure across social media and the media, in general, to set resolutions to go with the whole “new year, new me” thing.

Yes do not get me wrong I used to buy into this as much as the next person, but I would find myself disappointed when it seemed like not a lot had changed and we are over-pressured on this.

This year we are going down a whole new route (for me anyway), no “new year, new me” but more of the “new year, same me” with a little more growth and ambition. I know there are things I would like to do and change this year but it comes less from a place of being unhappy with myself and more from a position of the want for growth and learning.

This year I have decided to do things a little differently and in planning my goals for 2023, I decided to first sit down and create a list of all the things I was grateful for this last year, all the things I will be letting go and leaving in 2022, and finally a list of all the things I want to attract into 2023.

This process leads to a list of goals for 2023, some of which I have shared below:

  1. Finish the first draft of my work in progress… (top secret of course).
  2. Tackle the Goodreads challenge and read 100 books in 2023.
  3. Collab more with other blogs and brands
  4. Post consistently and on a schedule
  5. Take a course/class in something I have always wanted to
  6. Create a more day-to-day routine
  7. Increase All Things Gee interaction

There is so much more I want to do and achieve in 2023, but hey we cannot give it all away here. Some things have to be kept secret.

What are some of your goals for 2023?

Love Always,

Gee xoxo
