Happy May!

I hope you are well and having the most wonderful May! We are back with another countdown to my 25th post! I have been loving these as it is has been holding me accountable for posting more regularly.

In the lead up to my birthday I decided it was time for a change. If you have been around for a while you will know I have had my hair many different colours. But for my 25th I wanted to bring back a slightly more natural look.

One of the biggest things for me was finding someone I trusted because I have a weird thing with hair dressers. But within minutes of walking into this salon for a consultation I was in love.

The day of my hair change was like a dream every member of the team made me feel amazing and so so comfortable.

My hair started like this. This was over two years in an attempt to grow out the red in my hair. In October 2021 I had my hair dyed red and black. I have been trying to grow it out ever since.

The final results turned out to be the closest thing I have had to my natural colour in almost 7 years. It is safe to say I am so in love with it. It made such a difference to how I have felt.

One of my favourite parts of this is that the blonde bits put through the front of my face, frames my face in a way that meant I didn’t have to have much hair taken off. The length is something I knew I wanted to keep the same.
