Happy July!
I hope you are keeping well and enjoying July so far.
My next post could not be nothing other than a review of my favourite book of the year so far. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros has my heart and I just had to let everyone know how much I adore it.

Synopsis:
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders.
But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away… because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.
With fewer dragons willing to bond than cadets, most would kill Violet to better their own chances of success. The rest would kill her just for being her mother’s daughter—like Xaden Riorson, the most powerful and ruthless wingleader in the Riders Quadrant.
She’ll need every edge her wits can give her just to see the next sunrise.
Yet, with every day that passes, the war outside grows more deadly, the kingdom’s protective wards are failing, and the death toll continues to rise. Even worse, Violet begins to suspect leadership is hiding a terrible secret.
Friends, enemies, lovers. Everyone at Basgiath War College has an agenda—because once you enter, there are only two ways out: graduate or die.
My Thoughts:
Okay so like I read this in all of about half a day. It was consistent reading and I couldn’t put it down. Obsessed I don’t think is the right word. The thing is with a hyped up book I almost don’t wanna read it until the book hype has died down.
But I took the plunge and whilst this book has some flaws they are easily ignored by the utter pleasure if reading the book.
“My breath catches and my body warms, the traitorous bitch. You are not attracted to toxic men, I remind myself, and yet, here I am, getting all attracted.”
Oh hunni we have all been there but it’s one of my favourite quotes from the book cause I found myself outloud giggling.
Before we talk about the things I love about this book we have to talk about the one thing in this book that drives me fully freaking insane. Dain. I don’t care how much he cares about Violet, he makes me want to punch him. Let the girl live.
Now on to my favourite things of the book.
Violet Sorrengail. I am obsessed this her. She’s Bookworm which we know I am bound to love. She was meant to be a scribe and now she is a Dragon rider. I love that she is a badass who likes daggers. She is underestimiated by everyone and more fool them.
Xaden Riorson. We’ll dear god we love and hate this man all at once. He is out for revenge but can he not fall for Violet…
I need the second book like yesterday because it cannot end like this it just cannot.
Star Rating:
Have you read Fourth Wing? What did you think?
Love Always,

I absolutely loved this book. Definitely a favorite of the year for me as well. I think Dain is hated by everyone at this point 😂
