🍂My Ultimate Autumn Bucket List🍂

Dearest Well You,

There is something about autumn that makes me slightly crazy when it comes to well basically the 1st of September. Yes it’s basically the basic white girl in me living her absolute best life.

Suddenly, I am convinced I’m going to spend my weekends wandering through crunchy leaves with a coffee in hand, reading books by candlelight, baking things involving cinnamon and somehow having my entire life together.

Will all of that happen?

Probably not.

Am I going to romanticise the possibility anyway?

Absolutely.

Welcome to Day Two of Blogtober and, more importantly, my Ultimate Autumn Bucket List.

I don’t necessarily want this to be a list that I have to complete. I want it to be a collection of little things that remind me to actually enjoy this season while it’s here.

If you have read day one of Blogtober you will know that this season comes with the joys of making someone else feel very seasonally festive as well. So this list felt just right.

Because somehow we wait all year for autumn and then blink and suddenly someone is playing Mariah Carey.

So, before that happens…

📚 Make My Autumn TBR📚

First things first: books.

I want a little pile of books specifically for autumn (Yes, I know I was on a book buying ban, however worth it.) — cosy, witchy, spooky and maybe a romance or two thrown in for good measure.

Will I read them all? Questionable.

Will I continue buying more books anyway? Absolutely.

☐ Create my autumn TBR
☐ Read something witchy
☐ Read something spooky
☐ Have at least one proper cosy reading day

☕ Pumpkin Spice Everything☕

It’s basic.

I don’t care.

Give me the pumpkin spice latte.

Part of the autumn experience is walking around with an overpriced seasonal drink while pretending I’m the main character in an autumn rom-com. Even better if you can drag one of your favourite people along with you.

☐ First PSL of the season
☐ Try a new autumn drink
☐ Find a cute café
☐ Have a coffee + book date

Who doesn’t want an autumn tea advent (sadly not this years).

🎃 Go Pumpkin Picking🎃

Is it really autumn if you haven’t wandered around a field looking for the perfect pumpkin?

I want wellies, muddy fields, pumpkins everywhere and approximately 300 photos.

Bonus points if there’s hot chocolate involved.

☐ Go pumpkin picking
☐ Find THE pumpkin
☐ Take far too many photos
☐ Carve said pumpkin for Halloween

Because we need an updated version of this!

👻 Find London’s Best Halloween Houses👻

One thing I really want to do this year is wrap up warm, grab a coffee and go looking for some of London’s best Halloween house decorations. I fully blame Tik Tok for this.

Cobwebs. Skeletons. Pumpkins. Ghosts.

The more ridiculously over-the-top, the better.

Basically, I want to go on my own little Halloween decoration walk.

☐ Find the best decorated streets
☐ Take lots of photos
☐ Find the most ridiculous house
☐ Finish with a cosy drink somewhere

Because we need more of these moments

🔮 Have a Witchy Moment🔮

And finally…

It wouldn’t be an All Things Gee autumn without something a little witchy.

I want candles burning, tarot cards out, a journal nearby and maybe a little moon watching thrown in.

Nothing complicated.

Just an evening where I switch my phone off, slow down and make everyday life feel a tiny bit magical. I may have to tag in my favourite witchy person for this.

☐ Tarot evening
☐ Journal by candlelight
☐ Do something for the full moon
☐ Have a phone-free evening
☐ Embrace my inner witch

🍂 A Very Gee Autumn🍂

That’s it.

No enormous list of 50 things I have to achieve before the first Christmas tree appears. (Christmas comes with its very own to do list).

Just books, pumpkins, London adventures, pumpkin spice and a little bit of magic with some of my favourite people.

If I manage those things, I’ll consider autumn well spent.

And, of course, I’ll be bringing you along for all of it…

Blogtober Day Two: complete. 🍂

Love Always,
Gee
xoxo
