Sanctuary By eliza hope-brown

Happy March!

I hope you are having a lovely March so far. Today’s post is one I have been so so excited to post but I wanted to make sure I did it justice.

One of my favourite people in the entire world edited a book. A full published incredibly beautifully written whole novel. The most exciting thing about this is that Eliza Hope-Brown is also someone very special and incredibly talented and I couldn’t be more proud of the both.

I was lucky enough to be one of the ones to read this book before its official publishing date and now I am so so grateful that I get to finally put this review out there.

Thank you for having me on this journey!

Synopsis:

A broken heart, a photographer fixated on his work and a chance meeting in an airport at 4am.

Laura, professional rugby player, strong body, shattered heart, unable to see an end to the pain caused by her former fiancè.

Dan, married to his job and haunted by an image from the past that he just can’t shake.

A story that spans years and cities. Crossed paths and kept promises – does coffee really fix everything?

Find sanctuary in a book you won’t want to put down.

My Opinions:

I have to start with letting you know there is only one way of describing this book and it is EFFORTLESSLY BEAUTIFUL!

I had such a good feeling about this book when I picked it up, I knew it was going to be quirky but what I didn’t expect was to have an emotional experience reading it. I found myself head over heels in love with this book.

I read this book in one sitting and I cannot explain the feeling of pride and emotion that run through me.

The characters in this book, individually and collectively are the most incredible. I found myself attacted to them in a way that doesn’t happen for me very often with this genre of book.

I orginially read the kindle version and then well the thing was I had to have a physical copy. Let’s be honest we know I am not going to stop shouting about this for a little while. (Ever)

We also know I a sucker for a little bit of Rugby (its the Twickenham in me).

Overall it is a beautifully written and thought out novel, the characters take hold of your heart and the story had me gripped. Whole heartedly in love with this first in a what we can officially say is going to be a SERIES. A WHOLE SERIES. Colour me nothing but excited.
It’s safe to say that these characters have a special place in my heart.
This book (can’t) end with one of the best lines, *spoiler* it does, I’ve read in ages cause now I’m in love with yet another fictional man. (Yes… yes… I know the list is getting longer).

I cried and laughed and fell head over heels for this book ♥️
